Plan Description

1 This product is a 20 year Endowment policy with sum assured payable on maturity or on death.
2 This policy participates in the surplus of the life fund from the inception of the policy.  However, the bonuses will only vest from the 3rd policy year onwards.
3 Terminal bonus as illustrated in the Sales Illustrative System (SIS) are to be payable in the 20th policy year on death or maturity.
4 Enhanced Advanced Payment & Waiver of Premium (EAPWP) Rider is issued free to standard life for issue age below 56 with sum assured equivalent to the basic policy subject to a maximum of RM1,250,000 per life.

Benefit Descriptions

Maturity Benefit

On maturity of the plan, the Total Surrender Value as illustrated in the Sales Illustrative System (SIS) is projected to be payable.

Death Benefit

In the event of death, the Total Death Benefit as illustrated in the SIS is projected to be payable.

Total and Permanent Disability Benefit

Should the assured be totally and permanently disabled after age 16 and before age 60, and/or before the expiry of the rider(EAPWP), the assured will receive 10% of the total Enhanced Advanced Payment & Waiver of Premium (EAPWP) sum assured for the first two years and the remaining 80% of the total EAPWP sum assured in the third year.  However, should the total and permanent disability at anytime before age 60 be in the form of total and irrecoverable loss of sight of both eyes; or loss by severance of two limbs at or above wrist or ankle, a lump sum advance payment of total EAPWP sum assured is payable immediately.  The basic policy sum assured will be reduced by the advance payment made under the EAPWP/ECLR (Enhanced Critical Life Rider) rider.

Important Notices

Rider's Premium Paying Period

Premiums for EAPWP, EAPWP/ECLR andEDDI (Enhanced Deferred Disability Income) riders, if any, are payable during the premium paying period of the basic policy or until the assured reaches age 60, whichever is earlier.

Tax Relief for Riders' Premium

60% of the annual premiums paid, if any, for EAPWP, SIR (Spouse Income Rider) and EAPWP/ECLR riders will qualify for the RM3,000 medical tax relief, subject to the final decision by the Inland Revenue Board.

Riders' Exclusions

Any loss arising from the occurrence of the following is not covered under EAPWP, EAPWP/ECLR, EDDI and PB (Payor Benefit) riders:

- Self inflicted injuries
- Service in any armed forces or public order restoration
- Activities connected to any aerial device or conveyance except as a passenger on a commercial airline on an established passenger route

Please Note:

Cessation of premium payment before the end of the premium payment term will lead to an early termination of coverage to the policyholder.

The assured should satisfy himself/herself that this plan will best serve his/her needs and that the premium payable under the policy is an amount he/she can afford.
